Have we lost freedom?

The site will be back soon. There is a lot of things that have been on my plate that have been keeping me away from even thinking about this place, and old habits of not doing something die hard. So taste this little chunk that you are not going to read and like it. Re-posted from Jake Martinez’ Facebook. Since it was posted as a note for the world to see, I assume that there is no privacy issue on his part. I don’t care about the dumb girl involved.

Title: WTF

I don’t know if you remember me, but I used to be your friend on here and on myspace. I just found you randomly when I was looking through picture comments, and then thought of you while watching this video. It’s so beautiful : )

Can you elaborate on why you thought of me while watching a video of Ellen Degeneres?

I thought you might appreciate it. It wasn’t that long ago that it was illegal for gay people to marry their partners, and it isn’t now. I am a Christian, but I am also an American, and I believe people deserve equal rights, no matter their age, color, gender, or sexual preference.

That is a great thing to hear. I’m glad you’ve had a change of heart.

Hi Jake,

This is difficult, but I must say it. Any sane person would just forget the whole conversation and let that be that. But I can’t, I have made you believe something that is not true. I was made to believe something that is not true. Satan is a deceitful being.
I was caught up in the “beauty” of Ellen and Portia’s relationship, and had a momentary lapse in judgment. I was deceived. I apologize for sending you that message. It was not truthful. I thought it was for a few moments, but then I remembered who I am and what I believe in. Yes, I am an American, but I am, first and foremost, a Christian. I believe in the “American Way” etc…, but when it goes against Christ’s teachings I cannot stand beside and agree with it. God’s Law is the Law that I choose to follow. You most likely do not understand, and might never, and this makes me deeply sad. But you have chosen your way of life and I have chosen mine.
I don’t hate or dislike you, or any gay person for that matter, nothing like it. I’d like to be a friend if anything. But I just don’t believe that your lifestyle, homosexuality, is right. I don’t have any defense except the Bible, which I’m sure you don’t believe. But that is where I find my comfort, way of living, strength, everything. I live and breath it. So I can’t tell you anything else other than the Bible, God’s Holy Word, says that it is not natural or right to be gay. I’m sorry I made you believe different.

Why are you messaging me?
I don’t care about your beliefs nor do I care to talk to you.
I deleted you for a reason.
Go away and preach to someone who cares.

——————–

So, this idiotic girl took it upon herself to send me a message, trying to get on my good side, and then take it back?

Look, I don’t care what the hell you believe in, God, the Devil, the fucking tooth fairy, but don’t message me and try to beg for me to re-add you after I’ve deleted you, and then do that.

She’s SUCH a Christian.
I’m sick of these Christians and their moral hypocrisy.
Keep your damn “Bible” out of my face.
I don’t preach my beliefs to you, so don’t do it to me.
Do you see me going around preaching about how I think the “Bible” is a work of fiction?
No, because I keep my mouth shut and so should you.

THANKS.

It is worth noting before I begin on my post y vent that the most recent polling done by Gallup indicates that only 39% of Americans believe in evolution. This of course means that the majority of Americans do not believe in science while simultaneously believing in omnipotent cloud people. I have very little beef with the latter but the former is inexcusable and makes my blood boil, and will have no hesitation in telling you off about it. Charles Darwin is for absolutely no reason, one of the most hated men in all of history as far as Americans see it, and he might as well just be Hitler McSatanstalin. While every other country with a film market has had distribution locked for the Paul Bettany/Jennifer Connelly film Creation, which details Darwin’s struggle between faith and reason which he chronicles in The Origin of Species. The film itself sounds in no way to actually be controversial, and yet it’s being painted as the “most controversial film at the Toronto Film Festival”, yes, even over Antichrist. And that’s because…people are retarded and deserve to have their faces punched in the face.

The Christian community tries to paint Darwin as a crock theorist who in the end, only created eugenics and is “a racist, a bigot and an 1800s naturalist whose legacy is mass murder”. His “half-baked theory” directly influenced Adolf Hitler and led to “atrocities, crimes against humanity, cloning and genetic engineering.” That’s right, according to movieguide.org, Darwin is Satan. Roll snare drum. Everyone laugh. The film is starting all sorts of debate on Christian websites, and the consensus on all of them is that “EVOLUTION ISN’T SUPPORTED BY ANYTHING SCIENCE IS LYING HEY LOOK SKY ZOMBIE.”

Oscar-winning producer of the film Jeremy Thomas is in disbelief of it. “That’s what we’re up against. In 2009. It’s amazing,” he said.

“The film has no distributor in America. It has got a deal everywhere else in the world but in the US, and it’s because of what the film is about. People have been saying this is the best film they’ve seen all year, yet nobody in the US has picked it up. It is unbelievable to us that this is still a really hot potato in America. There’s still a great belief that He made the world in six days. It’s quite difficult for we in the UK to imagine religion in America. We live in a country which is no longer so religious. But in the US, outside of New York and LA, religion rules.

“Charles Darwin is, I suppose, the hero of the film. But we tried to make the film in a very even-handed way. Darwin wasn’t saying ‘kill all religion’, he never said such a thing, but he is a totem for people.”

The film has received raves at Toronto and is a BBC Films/UK Film Council production. The Hollywood Reporter said: “It would be a great shame if those with religious convictions spurned the film out of hand as they will find it even-handed and wise.”

A few days I reported on Tempe “Pastor” Steven Anderson, who is totally gung-ho for a homosexual genocide, and it seems like not he’s suddenly gotten into the national spotlight, because he and his “congregation” is praying for Obama to get a brain tumor. He doesn’t condone of murder (bullshit), but yeah, a brain tumor. That’ll kill him off real good. Also, not really news to me but worth mentioning, his “church” is a little tiny compartment of a strip mall. Awesome, Steven. You rent out a little space and say crazy stuff and now you’ll probably be a vice presidential candidate in 2012. The American way! Maybe I should go get some space in the strip mall by my house and put up a Church of Postavant and The Noodly Appendage and I’d have Fox News doing an article on me too.

To link to Fox News, damn me:

“I’m gonna pray that he dies and goes to hell when I go to bed tonight. That’s what I’m gonna pray,” he told his congregation.

He claims that this is merely just “spiritual warfare” and not anything malicious at all, and he is white as rain with God and he’s soooooo not going to hell.

“Look up the word hate. Look up the word abhor, the word loathe. You’ll see there are a lot of people that God hates, and so we should hate. But see, I didn’t write that, that’s in the Bible.”

Yeah, he’s going to get the shit beaten out of him again, with good reason. Hateful fundamentalist weirdo. Go chill with Ashley Card and talk about how animals don’t have brains or something equally stupid.

The full sermon, over an hour of craziness, I’m not going to watch it. Also, it’s just an empty room with him and…two people. Yeah, that sounds about right. He’ll be famous now that he’s getting attention for being such a moron. His congregation will grow to town hall size.

I love you Cheyenne but you are completely wrong in so many ways. I personally know God is watching because of my dad’s death. Coping was nearly impossible. You know firsthand

My regular friend and my Indian friend. Are you Asian or are you African? You look African. You want to be Asian? Why don’t you have pointy eyes? Your religion is wrong! You’re Indian which is like being African but in Asia. Hinduism and Christianity are the same thing! This is just a taste of the most ignorant bitch of all time. She deserves the title. “Why are you Hindu? You know you’re wrong. You’re going to go to hell. Jesus is truth, God doesn’t give birth to other Gods. You want to go to hell?”

Someone at Rotten Tomatoes, Eudaimonia in fact, one of the craziest people on the damn board, actually says it perfectly:

This truly is one of the biggest face palm moments in history. I’m totally disgusted by this. I am stunned that the consciousness of the youth of today is not growing instead it’s being set back a thousand years more. The level of ignorance and brainwashing shown here is an amazing sight to behold. At first I thought these two girls were making a joke video but no they’re for real and very serious about converting someone else who isn’t a christian. Because apparently if you’re not a christian you’re not on the right path and you’re bound to hell for eternity. It’s very sad to watch because I know these two so called christian girls are just victims of their parents indoctrination from an early age. Now I could go on about how religion itself is destructive in many many ways and can prevent a person from truly becoming a free thinking individual while living in constant fear and rules all the time but I won’t because I know that not all christians are bad just like not everyone who practices hinduism is bad. I’m sure there are some cool christians out there but unfortunately the majority aren’t and they will do anything they can in their power to make you believe you’re living a horrible and sinful life and unless you change your ways you will never be saved. I hope that one day on this beautiful planet earth that we stop this religion nonsense once and for all and that we all start actually living like real human beings. Religion has already done considerable damage to our freedoms across the world how much more violence and wars do we need before we end up blowing this world apart? Now luckily, the indian girl is a smart one compared to “Molly” and her friend who show no signs of brain activity whatsoever. We must enter a new age in society where tolerance and freedom rule no matter what a person believes in. I’m having a hard time imagining a world like that but I’ll keep “praying”. As much as I detest religion and what it’s done to the soul of our political, education and social system I give high praise for the indian girl for not breaking down and blindly accepting something so goddamn ridiculous and sticking to her beliefs.

My favorite part is her logic that Hindugirl should be a Christian because “in her religion, I wouldn’t go to hell, but in your religion, you would go to hell. You’re not really a Hindu, you just think you are.”

“Do you celebrate Christmas?” “No.” “Oh my God!”

“It sucks that I know that a lot of my friends are going to hell, and I want you to be in heaven with me, understand where I’m coming from? Look through that window, see all that beautiful stuff and trees? That’s Jesus, and if you appreciate that, faith can come in.”

FUCK HER.

Molly, I mean. Saraa stayed incredibly calm and is a very respectable human being from what I can tell. She took all that abuse from them and probably has done that more than once in her life, and stayed completely composed. You rock, Saraa!

This video makes the story of Scientology seem just about on par, maybe even a bit more believable in comparison. We mock that, and videos of old Native American belief, and yet, since it’s so ingrained into our culture, most can’t see how ridiculous this video is. It…it shocks me even though it’s so, so familiar.

A blood sacrifice. A blood sacrifice. A blood sacrifice. A blood sacrifice. A blood sacrifice. A blood sacrifice. A blood sacrifice. A blood sacrifice. A blood sacrifice.
