“Hey, we should remake The Pacifier with Jackie Chan, Billy Ray Cyrus and George Lopez, all the while, cutting together the worst trailer we possibly can and giving it a January release date!” “That is a great idea Mr. Siddig, aren’t we so transparent and honest about the products we release and make sweet, sweet cash off of?” “Yes we are, because the cover of Zombie Nation totally represented the film, even though it did not even have a zombie in it.” This is how I imagine every single conversation that happens in the executive suites of Lionsgate, and this little abortion of a movie is reflective of it. The Spy Next Door, directed by that guy who made Snow Dogs, is a carbon copy of The Pacifier except less interesting and less funny, and The Pacifier isn’t exactly interesting or funny. Just…watch this, and compare to the other trailer, and you will suddenly have a newfound respect for Vin Diesel. Also, Brett Ratner is the only one who can make “Jackie Chan wigga humor” “funny”.
